Bitte beachten Sie, dass wir nur bereits bezahlte Versandscheine aus unserem System rekonstruieren können. Wir können aber keine Versandscheine OHNE Bezahlung erstellen und versenden.

If you would like to send us a package with clothing donations but do not have a printer to print out the shipping label, you can still create the label. You will find a QR code on it. You can show this code directly in the DHL or GLS shop using your smartphone, and the staff will print out the shipping labels on site.

All packages arrive at our warehouse in Helmstedt. There, the packages are unloaded by hand, opened, and sorted. We have various aid projects with different needs. Therefore, donations are allocated to the individual projects. Anything that is not allocated to an aid project can be offered for sale in our charity shops to finance our work, or sold to second-hand clothing recycling companies that we have checked in accordance with the ethical standards of FairWertung e.V. In addition, we are committed to a successful circular economy and promote upcycling initiatives that create new products from the donations we receive, such as MOOT (www.moot.eco), whose products we also offer in our shops. However, we do not engage in recycling. Therefore, we do not collect damaged, soiled, worn clothing or textile scraps.

Grundsätzlich können alle Textilien und Schuhe abgegeben werden, solange sie in gutem Zustand sind. Dazu zählen auch unbeschädigte Kinderkleidung, Bett- und Tischwäsche, Sportkleidung und Accessoires wie Mützen und Schals, Gürtel, Handtaschen und Modeschmuck. Pelze, Dirndl sowie Faschingsbekleidung sind ebenso willkommen.

Folgende Artikel nehmen wir NICHT an:

• Lebensmittel, Spielzeug, Windeln
• medizinische Geräte, Verbandsmaterial, Hygieneartikel
• abgetragene Schuhe, Gummistiefel, Inlineskates und Schlittschuhe
• Kissen, Bettdecken, Stuhlauflagen etc.,
• Brillen, Bürsten, Seifenartikel, Kleiderbügel 
• Reisetaschen und Schulranzen
• Bücher

You can donate clothing and shoes for any season to us at any time. Whether fabric shoes or lined boots, bikinis or down jackets, we are happy to accept all items of clothing in good condition. Thanks to our logistics, we are prepared for countercyclical donations and can therefore help with suitable clothing donations worldwide at any time. We always have the option of storing donations that are not suitable for the season, so that no clothing or shoes have to be disposed of just because they are not currently needed.

In isolated cases, smaller shops in particular have refused to accept parcels, citing their storage space. This is very unfortunate, but unfortunately we cannot influence this and cannot restrict the selection of links accordingly. Please note that we cannot arrange for parcels to be collected from your premises.

A package must weigh at least 5 kg and may weigh up to 31.5 kg (DHL) or 40 kg (GLS) and have maximum dimensions of 60x60x120 cm. We ask that you pack packages as large as possible. This will save us excessive shipping costs. For reference: a well-filled moving box weighs approximately 15 kg.

Time and again, donors are unable to bring the packages to the post office or a parcel shop themselves. Unfortunately, our agreements with DHL or GLS do not provide for pick-ups. This would incur additional costs that we, as a non-profit organization, cannot afford. In principle, we have been told that DHL drivers, for example, will take parcels with them if they are delivering other items, but we cannot guarantee this. It would therefore be safer and better for us if you could find a way to drop off the items, perhaps through friends, family members, or neighbors.

There is an "expiration date" on the vouchers, but this only refers to the QR code that DHL would use to print the vouchers. This means that this service is only available for one month. Vouchers that you print yourself do not expire; they can still be used weeks or months later.

Unfortunately, we are generally unable to issue donation receipts for private clothing donations. The hurdles for this are very high for clothing donations. The tax office requires precise information for determining the value of the donation. As a rule, this requires purchase receipts and an appraisal of the current market value. This involves a great deal of effort, which we, like many other non-profit organizations, cannot afford.

Firmen bitten wir, entstehende Versandkosten selbst zu übernehmen. Benötigen Sie von uns eine Bescheinigung, um die Entnahme aus ihrem Betriebsvermögen zu dokumentieren, melden Sie sich bitte vorab bei uns. Berufsbekleidung, auch mit Firmenlogo, nehmen wir gern, wenn diese noch nicht getragen wurde. Darüber hinaus halten wir Abnahmemöglichkeiten für nicht verkaufte Neuware bereit.
