The Republic of Moldova (Moldova) is a landlocked country in southeastern Europe between Ukraine and the EU state of Romania. The country's infrastructure is on the level of a developing country. There is neither social welfare nor unemployment assistance for those in need. Due to the sometimes catastrophic living conditions, about one million people have left the country in recent years to find work abroad. This exodus has had devastating consequences for the country. Many children have been left behind by their parents with grandparents or in orphanages, where they usually lack the most basic necessities. In 2012-2017, we delivered more than 200,000 items of clothing and shoes to the community.
